Gigditty values your privacy and provides simple ways to permanently delete your account and request removal of associated data.
Delete Your Account on the Website
You can permanently delete your account from the Gigditty website:
- Sign in and open the Dashboard
- Select the gear icon in the dashboard navigation
- Choose Delete account
- Read the warning and complete the confirmation prompts
Delete Your Account in the Mobile App
You can also delete your account directly from within the Gigditty app:
- Open the app
- Go to the Profile tab
- Tap Settings
- Tap Delete account and complete the confirmation prompts
What Account Deletion Does
When deletion completes, Gigditty permanently deletes your account and data associated solely with it from Gigditty's live systems and deletes the corresponding RevenueCat subscriber record. You will no longer be able to sign in, and Gigditty cannot reactivate, restore, or recover the deleted account or that data. Account deletion cannot be undone.
- Authentication data, profile details, account settings, and user marketplace data are removed from Gigditty's live systems.
- Uploads and Gigditty records controlled solely by your account are permanently deleted from live systems.
- Your active Gigditty sessions and access to account-controlled data end when deletion completes.
Limited Exceptions
Permanent account deletion has limited exceptions that do not allow Gigditty to restore your account:
- Restricted backup, cache, log, or archival copies may remain temporarily until their scheduled rotation. They are not available through Gigditty and are not used to restore an individually deleted account.
- Information another user independently supplied, copied, downloaded, or is entitled to keep as part of a shared group, host, gig, message, review, contact, or transaction record may remain.
- If a financial record also belongs to another account, Gigditty retains the minimum accounting facts needed for that account's reporting, including a non-identifying transaction type, while removing your account reference, notes, personal labels, and related membership references. The removed side is shown only as a deleted account.
- Apple, Google, app stores, payment providers, analytics providers, email providers, and other independent services may retain records under their own policies. Deleting Gigditty does not delete accounts or records those parties control.
- Account deletion does not by itself cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel an active app-store subscription in the applicable store settings first to prevent future renewal charges.
- Gigditty may retain the minimum information required for legal compliance, financial records, disputes, fraud or abuse prevention, moderation, or security. It is restricted from ordinary product use and is not used to recreate the account.
